Éclat d'ébène
An African woman, rendered in the warm colors of straw marquetry, embodying strength and dignity revealed through a meticulous geometric construction. Through her, I celebrate the beauty, power, and cultural richness carried within every gaze. MDF panel base and custom-made MDF frame. A blend of gold leaf, straw, and imitation-leather or fabric-effect paper.

Goupil
A fox portrait in straw marquetry — the coat is rendered through the orientation of the strands, which catch the light much like real fur. The tawny and amber tones alternate with darker shades to bring depth and character to its gaze. The name *Goupil* is the Old French word for fox, popularized by the *Roman de Renart* (Reynard the Fox). A nod to the animal's cunning as well as to the precision of the marquetry craft. MDF panel base and custom-made MDF frame.

La Madone
She does not cast her eyes down; she closes them. The warm tones — ochre, amber, deep orange — evoke the earth, roots, and strength. This Madonna is not religious; she is universal. She embodies womanhood in its noblest form. MDF panel base and custom-made MDF frame.
