Workshops
Passing on the craft helps ensure that straw marquetry remains a living art. Several times a year, the studio welcomes small groups — no more than six participants — to discover a discipline shaped above all by time, concentration and the hand.
- Workshops take place at Atelier Mayati in Verlus (Gers) and at Ateliers Hybride in Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques).
- All materials and tools are provided.
- Step-by-step guidance throughout.
- Each participant leaves with a finished piece.
- Workshops are taught in French.

Introduction to Straw Marquetry
A half-day introduction to straw marquetry. Learn how to prepare, split and lay the straw, and leave with a small finished object made during the session. No previous experience required.

Straw Marquetry Intensive
An immersive two-, three- or four-day course in straw marquetry. From preparing the straw and constructing geometric patterns to refined studio finishes, the longer format allows you to explore more complex techniques and complete a more accomplished piece.

Bespoke Tuition
A tailored programme developed around a specific project — a commission, collaboration or personal research. Schedule and content are defined together in advance.
