A pedestal table finished in straw marquetry — a diamond set within the circle, composed strand by strand, from the palest blond to an almost black brown.

Everything starts at the centre: a point of natural, barely golden straw from which the shades move outwards in successive layers — honey, amber, raw sienna, mahogany — until they fade into the four corners of the top. Depending on where you stand, the gradient reverses and the core seems to light up.

The apron and the turned column, left in matt black, form a base without shine: the top alone catches the light.

A functional piece designed for a living room or an entrance hall, with a sculptural presence.
